Noora Geagea is a Helsinki-based Lebanese-Finnish conceptual artist and photographer working across photography, video, sound, and drawing. Recurring themes in her practice include power dynamics, control, autonomy, and societal pressures. Her versatile background ranges from competitive rhythmic gymnastics to camera assisting in feature films, experiences that inform her approach to storytelling.
Geagea earned an MA in Fashion Photography from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, in 2009. Her work has been exhibited at galleries and institutions including Hobusepea Gallery in Tallinn, Hippolyte Gallery and Forum Box in Helsinki, Serlachius Museums Gösta, Mänttä Art Festival, Weserburg Museum of Modern Art in Bremen, the Miettinen Collection in Berlin, and the Aesthetica Art Prize exhibition by York Museums Trust. Publications include the Riga Biennale 2023 catalogue, and her work is held in several public and private collections including the Serlachius Museums Collection, Finnish State Art Deposit Collection, Miettinen Collection, and KEVA Art Collection.
