In her artwork Noora Geagea has dealt with the boundary between painting and photography as well as that between figurative and abstract art. In Geagea’s images paint covers photograph, washing over it both in colour and mass. The images have a figurative content. Originally, they are photographs of people in gatherings and demonstrations. Geagea blurs the idealism in her images with a surface that creates distance due to its surreal scale and uncomfortable sharpness. It is the viewer's responsibility to decide whether to stay on the surface or to peek deeper in the scenery that is composed of dialogue between the physical paint and the digital picture.
